1. How do I register or
book a course?
You can register your interest in a course by going to worldtutor.co.uk/register,
we will then contact you with further information.
2. What is online language tutoring?
It
is a service offered by us over the internet, through either webcam or
email, whereby we impart our English expertise to you.
3. What can I learn?
We
offer you the opportunity to study and learn almost any aspect of the
English language and at any level.
4. How long is a
lesson?
Our
live online lessons are of 50 minutes in length.
5. What eqipment do I
need?
We suggest that if you wish to undertake our
live online lessons then as a minimum you would need -
Computer with at least 1.5 GB RAM
Broadband connectivity
Headphones, microphone, &
webcam
6. Where are the
tutors from?
Our
tutors come from a diverse range of countries and backgrounds. You can
place a request to be taught by a tutor from your own country if you so
wish.
7. How much does a
course cost?

8. How do I pay?
You can pay by Credit Card through our secure
paypal gateway.
9. What qualifications do
the tutors have?
We
only hire those tutors that have recognised teaching qualifications
such as PGCE and CELTA
10. How should I
prepare for a lesson?
Check
that all your equipment is functioning correctly, be ready five minutes
before the lesson time, be aware of the topic for the lesson.
11. Can I choose a
specific tutor?
Yes,
when choosing the dates and timings of your lessons you will see which
tutors are available to give that lesson.
12. What
certification is given upon successful completion of a course?
All
students & learners that successfully complete any of our English
training programs will be issued personlised certification from World Tutor which is now
recognised by numerous bodies and employers throughout Europe and Asia.
13. How do I get a
refund if I'm not happy?
If
you genuinely feel that the service has not been as expected, then
dependning upon the reason given and evidence presented, a refund can be offered.
14. How do I cancel a
lesson?
A lesson can be cancelled and rescheduled at no extra cost
up to 36 hours before the start time by logging into the booking calendar with your World Tutor
password.
15. How can I get
extra assistance with a correspondence course?
Our email correspondence courses are
designed to be primarily self-study though you are assigned a dedicated
tutor who will be available daily by email to answer any queries or
confusions that you may have.
16. What happens if
during an online lesson there is a technical problem?
On
few occassions technical problems can arise from either the student's
or tutor's side. If this happens only a handful of times then the affected lessons will be rescheduled. If the
problem persists then our tech team will assess the situation and
suggest a plan of
action.
17. What level tuition can
I take?
You
can study at almost any level with us. We have courses designed to
cater to virtually all levels and abilities.
18. Which VOIP is used for
live lessons?
We
suggest that our students and tutors use either Skype or Adobe's
Connect Now service. Other VOIPs can be used upon request.
